“When I started, I was taught the most important thing you can do is be kind,” Schiemer said. “Just be kind. And that’s worked for us. We attract a lot of business because of that. It’s what we look for when we hire people. You can teach anyone to
sell a guitar, but you can’t teach them to be kind. We live that every day.” A HUMBLE START Today, the now-two-location dealership has some 25 employees, sees about 400
music lessons students a week and ser- vices some 90 school districts in western Pennsylvania. But, Brighton Music Center had humble roots. The company started as a small teaching studio in Rochester, Pennsylvania, before
