Product availability has always been a cornerstone of KHS’s success, said Golden- son. “You simply can’t serve customers if you don’t have what they need,” he con- tinued. “We’ve made significant financial investments to strengthen our in-stock position and ensure continuity of supply. During the COVID era, when many sup- pliers scaled back, we took the opposite ap- proach — supporting our manufacturing partners and preparing for the moment the market reopened. That same philoso- phy still guides us today. While we’re not perfect and demand often exceeds projec- tions, our commitment remains unwaver- ing: to have the right products available
KHS comes top to mind. Even with last- minute requests, voters wrote, KHS con- sistently delivers. Jerry Goldenson, KHS president and CEO, attributes the company’s speed and efficiency to an exceptional team that em- bodies a “whatever it takes” mindset. “Over the past year, we’ve continued to examine every process with a focus on continuous improvement, agility and cus- tomer impact,” Goldenson said. “If it mat- ters to our customers, it matters to us. We view every challenge as an opportunity to prove our commitment — because as we often say, walls aren’t there to keep you

when our partners need them most.” For Goldenson, recognition of KHS this year represents a deep honor. “So many outstanding companies in our industry do incredible work, and to be considered among them is both humbling and inspiring,” he said. “While recogni- tion is never our goal, it’s a meaningful reminder of the impact our people make every day.
