Tilt, Mic, Rock Out! The Cab Caddy lets guitarists attach, tilt and mic an amp and cab all on one attach- ment. With the Cab Caddy, guitarists can safely tilt back their amp and take their tone off the floor. The unit features no extra stands or accessories to haul around — play- ers can simply grab their guitar and leave the rest in the car. “The idea for The Cab Caddy began years ago, when I use to play regularly, both live and in the studio,” said John Licitra, Cab Caddy’s founder. “Although the Cab Caddy also works well with combo amps, my preference was always detached equipment. The sound was more robust, organic and resonant.” $ The Cab Caddy (thecabcaddy.com)
Casio Grows its Celviano Digital Piano Line Casio has announced the U.S. availabili- ty of two new entry-level models in its Celviano digital piano series: the AP-300 and the AP-S200. The AP-300’s classic design, with gold accents on the logo and key cover, offers sophistication with a traditional aesthetic. The AP-S200’s slim profile, measuring only 11.8 inches in depth, lets it fit seamlessly into smaller living spaces without compromis- ing performance. A slow-closing key cover is quiet, while the instruments’ three pedals are designed for enhanced usability and sta- bility. Both models feature a two-channel, two-speaker sound system incorporating advanced acoustic and sound source tech- nologies from Casio’s higher-end Celviano pianos. The models feature 19 built-in tones, which include grand piano tones that pro- vide a wide range of dynamic expressions. $ Casio (casiomusicgear.com)
