U.S. utility patent 12,131,722 was issued on Oct. 29, 2024, for a “wearable music sys- tem.” Walkabout is not just a carrier har- ness designed specifically for electron- ic musical instruments, its “Boombox” is a standalone, battery-powered, mini P.A. system with an adjustable musical instru- ment shelf that attaches directly to exist- ing marching carriers. Zoom’s H2essential Offers More Ways to Record
Zoom has launched the H2essential, a Handy Recorder equipped with three internal microphones, offering cre- ators more ways to record than ever. The H2essential is poised to set a new standard for sound quality and ease of use in on-the- go recording. The H2essential features three internal microphones that allow users to select the ideal microphone pattern for their record- ing. Two cardioid microphones face the front and rear of the device, while a third bi-directional microphone is positioned to capture sound from side to side.
Users can tailor their audio setup by choosing between 90o or 120o stereo, or switch to mono mode for hyper-direction- al recording that minimizes background noise.
