Multiphonics CV-3 is a modular rack for creating and playing synthesizers. It can also be used to assemble effects and process audio tracks. With its straightforward interface, the Multiphonics CV‑3 provides musicians and sound designers with a fun space for the exploration of musical and sonic ideas and a quick path to their realization. It’s also an ideal learning environment for newcomers. Multiphonics ships with a wide library of synths and effects. “The standout feature of Multiphonics CV-3 is its new polyphonic capability, which fundamentally transforms its potential as a musical instrument,” said Benoit Charland, Applied Acoustics Systems’ lead product designer. “A patch can be made polyphonic with literally the push of a button — a sim- plicity rare among modular racks, which are monophonic in nature.” $ Applied Acoustics (applied-acoustics.com)
