We’re thrilled to hear that our efforts have been recognized as we remain committed to supporting customers at every stage of their journey.” Voters also called out The Music People’s “excellent web portal,” with one voter praising how usefully data is arranged and laid out, making it easy for busy retailers to navigate. “We recently launched a new B2B website designed with intention and purpose,” Tedesco said. “Our goals were straightforward: Make it easy to use, en- sure the accessibility of key information and create a site that users would want to return to.” Products are another hallmark of TMP’s excellence, with voters praising their “amazing selection of distributed and proprietary brands,” and how “they do a great job of providing us quality products while also making sure we are informed of new products.” ONE BIG ‘JAM-ILY’ TMP’s voter-recognized friendliness has carried the company through decades of success, and will no doubt guide them to a future of excellence, as well. The Music People was family-owned and operated for 41 years before being acquired by Exertis | JAM in 2020, and TMP’s new owners maintain a similarly familia culture. “We often refer to ourselves as a ‘JAM-ily,’” Tedesco said. “The mutual appreciation and respect we have for ev- ery customer continues to foster a fami- ly-like atmosphere for us all.” Team members ultimately define TMP’s culture, Tedesco continued, adding, “They choose to make it feel like family when they interact with each other and our partners.
