J. THIBOUVILLE-LAMY NEW VIOLIN ADDITIONS

Thibouville-Lamy’s line-up of new violins includes the Barnabetti, Sarasate and Violons de Maitre Series, each individually handcrafted by master luthiers using carefully selected European tonewoods, time-honored traditions and with original JTL instruments by their side throughout the process. The Barnabetti violin is a faithful recreation of the original 1910 J.T.L. Barnabetti violin, handcrafted from select European spruce and a one-piece European maple back. The Sarasate Eleve is crafted from finely grained spruce and two-piece European maple, naturally aged for six-plus years with golden amber spirit varnish to enhance brilliance and sensitivity. The Sarasate Maitre combines select aged spruce with a two-piece maple back, while the Sarasate Artiste is crafted from aged European spruce and highly flamed Grade 3 European maple. {jtlamy.com}
