Gibson has unveiled cus- tom versions of four of its most popular acoustic guitar models: the J-45, Humming- bird, SJ-200 and the Songwrit- er EC acoustics. Pictured here, the Hummingbird was Gibson’s first square-shoulder acoustic model. Now, the Gibson Cus- tom Shop has introduced the new Hummingbird Custom. It builds on the classic Humming- bird features, including a solid sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a 24.75- inch scale mahogany neck with a round profile, and adds Les Paul Custom-inspired cosmet- ics, including an ebony nitrocel- lulose lacquer finish. {gibson.com}
